"Table Federation" Participate in "International Congress" In Doha

Dubai, April 27/ WAM/ The Emirates Table Tennis Federation will participate in the meetings of the General Assembly of the International Federation, in the Qatari capital, Doha, on the sidelines of the World Championship next May.
The participating delegation includes His Excellency Eng. Dawood Al -Hajri, President of the Federation, Hassan Al -Zarouni, Secretary -General, and Ahmed Al -Bahr, Assistant Secretary -General.
The Federation also agreed to the participation of our national team in the Arab Championship for the teams scheduled for next August, pending the announcement of the host country.
Ahmed Al -Bahr said that the next meeting of the General Assembly will witness the election of a new president for the International Federation for the next 4 years until 2029.
He explained that the participation of the union delegation in the “International Congress”, is an opportunity to discuss aspects of cooperation and exchange experiences with sister and friendly federations, in a way that enhances development plans, and to upgrade the game system, to enhance the technical efficiency of national teams.
On the other hand, the Al -Bahr noted the Federation’s Board of Directors’s keenness to increase the number of clubs affiliated with its membership, given the importance of this step in raising competition levels, and developing performance for clubs and players .. He said: “The decision of the General Assembly recently, to adopt the membership of the Rams Club a good step that would contribute to moving the game to better horizons.”
He pointed out that Al -Rams Club participated in the competitions of the junior and cubs in the current season 2024 – 2025, which paved the way for the approval of its membership in the federation after announcing its desire to make an official request according to the prescribed regulations.
