The President of the State discusses with the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs bilateral relations

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Fouad Muhammad Hussein, who delivered His Highness an official invitation from the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, to attend the Arab Summit in Baghdad scheduled for next May 17.

His Highness the President of the State, during the meeting, which took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, welcomed the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, and discussed with him bilateral relations and work to enhance them, especially in the developmental fields to serve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples, in addition to a number of developments and regional and international issues subject to common concern, and the importance of working to promote peace, stability and cooperation in the region for the benefit of all its peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the depth of Emirati-Iraqi relations, wishing the brotherly Iraq and his people to stability, development and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al -Dhafra region, His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency Bureau for Development Affairs and Families of the Martyrs, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency Bureau for Special Affairs, Sheikh Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State, the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al -Jaber, and Minister of Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murr, along with a number of sheikhs, ministers, officials and members of the Iraqi delegation.
