The United Nations mourns Pope Francis: He was a messenger of hope and humanity

In a press release, the Secretary -General pointed out that the legacy of Pope Francis represented by “faith, service and sympathy for everyone, especially those who were left on the sidelines of life or were trapped in the terror of the conflict.”

The Secretary -General stressed that Pope Francis was a “man of faith for all religions”, and that he worked with people of all beliefs and backgrounds to light the road forward.
