The UAE is a pioneer in anticipating the future of the education sector

Sarah bint Youssef Al -Amiri, Minister of Education, affirmed the UAE’s leadership in the field of preparing for the future and its honor and achieving pre -emptive fields, especially the national education sector, through a series of global methodologies and partnerships that it worked on during the past stages in a way that ensures the construction of a national educational system with global specifications that respond to the aspirations of the UAE and keep pace with its prestigious global position.
This came during her participation in the work of the second edition of the Human Capacity Initiative conference (HCI) 2025, which was held in Riyadh under the slogan “Post -prepared for the future”, with the participation of about 300 speakers of ministers, policy makers and international experts from various academic and private sectors, with the aim of discussing common visions and exchanging experiences in developing human capabilities in a way that keeps pace with rapidly rapid transformations globally.
During her participation, Al -Amiri reviewed the features of the strategic directions of the UAE in developing education, stressing the importance of investing in digital technology, align educational policies with national visions, building an advanced educational system that focuses on future skills, supports critical thinking and creativity, and enhances education flexibility and its ability to adapt to variables.
She pointed to the importance of providing continuous learning opportunities for life, as it is an essential pillar in enabling individuals and enhancing their readiness for the future, with a focus on diversifying educational paths, providing flexible education environments, keeping pace with the needs of different groups, pointing to the importance of building strategic partnerships with education institutions and knowledge providers, and taking advantage of digital developments in promoting skills and stimulating the spirit of innovation.
In a related context, Al -Amiri stressed her participation in a meeting that included the ministers of education in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council within the work of the conference is the importance of integrating digital culture and the skills of artificial intelligence within educational policies, noting the efforts made by the UAE government to qualify individuals and ensure their use of these technologies effectively and responsibly, and the future vision pursued by the ministry regarding the development of educational curricula to include modern concepts and technologies, and to provide education tools The occasion to enable teachers, and to devote the principle of justice in reaching technology for all students.
Al -Amiri presented during the meeting the challenges accompanying the digital transformation, especially its effects on the labor market, stressing the need to adopt strategies that focus on supporting continuous learning, and providing supportive educational infrastructure, as well as developing flexible work policies that keep pace with the requirements of the next stage, and ensure the inclusiveness of opportunities for all members of society.
