Dubai, April 27 /WAM /The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Dubai announced the statistics of the “Ajyal” program for the academic year 2024-2025, recording a qualitative shift in the number of beneficiaries and the quality of its educational outputs, within the framework of the strategic partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, and within the targets of “Dubai Social Agenda 33”, to enhance the quality of life and build a coherent society through raising awareness Community is the importance of values in the life and future of students.
The second semester of the program witnessed the participation of more than 8,500 beneficiaries, achieving a growth rate exceeding 90 percent compared to the first semester, which recorded the participation of more than 4400 beneficiaries, and the number of lectures implemented increased from 55 lectures in the first semester to 92 lectures in the second semester, which reflects the increasing demand from educational institutions and expanded the scope of the positive impact of the program on the school environment.
The “Ajyal” program comes within the “Grass Al -Khair” initiative, to consolidate human and educational values in the hearts of students, parents and educational cadres, in line with the strategic plan of the department and the vision of good leadership in building a society based on tolerance, coexistence and societal cohesion.
Muhammad Mahdi Al -Suwaidi, Director of the Department of Education and Religious Guidance, stressed that the Ajyal program is a distinguished model in supporting the educational environment with values based on tolerance and social responsibility in partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority that contributed to empowering thousands of students and enhancing their societal awareness.
He pointed out that the next stage will witness more expansion and innovation in providing content, which contributes to enabling young generations and preparing them to be ambassadors of values and morals who bear the responsibility for building a sustainable future based on family and community cohesion.
