Reem Al-Hashemi confirms that the governance and management of Gaza is the responsibility of the Palestinian people

Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, confirmed that the UAE categorically denies the baseless allegations regarding its assumption of the civil administration of the Gaza Strip.

The UAE reiterated that the governance and management of Gaza is the responsibility of the Palestinian people.

She stressed the UAE’s firm commitment to continuing to expand the scope of its humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and to work to advance the lasting peace process between Israelis and Palestinians, including through its role as a founding member of the Peace Council, and its membership in the Gaza Executive Council.
