"Red Crescent" The Jalila Foundation enhances their humanitarian partnership in the health field

Dubai on May 1 / WAM / The Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the human arm of the UAE, and the Jalila Foundation, signed the charitable arm of “Dubai Health”, yesterday, a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing their humanitarian partnership in the health field, and supporting education and medical research.

This step comes from the keenness of the two sides to consolidate the concept of institutional partnership, enhance their contribution to community service, develop charitable and humanitarian work, consolidate the values ​​of loyalty and national affiliation, and raise the level of societal, voluntary and health awareness in the state.
The Memorandum of Understanding contributes to supporting the UAE government’s strategy in promoting social responsibility and developing the prospects for cooperation for a better future for humanitarian work, as well as consolidating the sustainability of giving as one of the pillars of charitable work in the country.
The memo was signed by His Excellency Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Secretary -General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and Dr. Amer Al -Zarouni, Executive Director of Al -Jalila Foundation, while the memorandum determined the frameworks of cooperation and future coordination mechanisms.
His Excellency Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei stressed that the signing of the memo reflects the keenness of the Emirati Red Crescent to build effective partnerships with health institutions in the country, in a way that contributes to the development of the authority’s initiatives in the field of health care,

He said that this step represents a qualitative shift in cooperation efforts, and opens wide horizons to serve the beneficiaries of the Red Crescent programs, as well as the common values ​​and principles that the two sides seek to consolidate, in a way that enhances societal solidarity efforts, and guarantees a better future for the categories due.
For his part, Dr. Amer Al -Zarouni said that this strategic partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority embodies the joint commitment to upgrade the quality of health care and enhance scientific research in the country, noting that through this cooperation, we hope to expand the scope of our charitable and therapeutic initiatives to serve the due groups.
He added that the Foundation believes that cooperation with leading institutions such as the Red Crescent enhances its ability to achieve its humanitarian mission, and expands the scope of health services provided by the Jalila Foundation.
