"Sharjah Reading for the child" 2025 reviews the novels and children’s talents

Sharjah on May 2 / WAM / Specialized writers and artists confirmed that the photographer has become one of the most attractive forms of literature for the young people because of its visual and advice interaction that enhances imagination and turns reading into a multi -sensor experience, and they unanimously agreed that this type of stories has a unique ability to instill human values and install reading habits if it is presented in a manner that suits the reader’s awareness Emerging.
This came during a dialogue session, entitled “The secret of the attractiveness of the novels photographed in the eyes of young readers” was organized within the activities of the 16th session of the Sharjah Reading Festival for Children, with the participation of the journalist and cartoonist CG Salamander, Emirati writer Maryam Al -Ghafli, Indian writer Lavania Cartheck, and Saudi writer Fatima Boukhamseen, and the children’s content service.
In a cultural symposium, during a session, “Discovering hidden children’s talents by reading” with the participation of British writer Hana Lee, Dr. Amani, who is from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Syrian writer Lina El -Desouki, and the Kenyan writer and writer Methoni Garla, where a group of female writers and academies from different countries of the world collected, unanimously agreed that children’s stories remain more influential and warm than the content of social media because of the value Humanity and intimate communication with the child, and that the parents are the first gate to instill the love of reading.
The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children’s Care, in cooperation with the Child Protection Program, also organized an impressive reading session, titled “The Pencil that discovered itself” and targeted the raising of awareness among children of the values of self -acceptance, self -confidence and alert to the risks of bullying, through an interactive story presented by Fatima Al -Balushi from the Foundation for a number of school students visiting the festival.
The story, “The Pencil that has discovered itself” is part of the Foundation’s efforts to raise awareness of mental and emotional health for children, as part of the Child Protection Program, which aims to consolidate the positive values of children from 5 to 10 years such as sympathy, self -acceptance and safe expression of feelings.
