" Abu Dhabi Culture" and"Sultan bin Ali Al Owais" Expect a memorandum of understanding to enhance Arab intellectual and cultural exchange

The memo was signed, His Excellency Hoda Ibrahim Al -Khamis, the founder of the Abu Dhabi Group for Culture and Arts and the Abu Dhabi Festival, and His Excellency Ibrahim Al -Hashemi, Executive Director of the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, in the group’s wing, as part of the participation of its initiative, “Literature and the Book”, under the title “The Poet Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais: Al -Asma Al -Asib Al -Ghaiba”, to commemorate the centenary of the poet’s birthday The late, which UNESCO announced for the year 2025, to celebrate its deep cultural heritage, which is still one of the pillars of the contemporary Arab literary scene.

She said Thursday: “We meet today to salute the celebration of UNESCO with the centenary of the poet Sultan Al Owais, and to celebrate his immortal impact, and his inspirational legacy and his correct vision, a businessman, gave generosity and generosity, invested in minds and hearts, and contributed to meeting the thought with wisdom and word, a poet who is full of culture and identity is a pioneer in enhancing the position of the Emirates, a beacon of renewal On the paths of renaissance and building civilization.

She added that this masculine complements a partnership in connection with the existence, the unity of vision and the goal, that it is the era of commitment to the pioneering role that the institutions play in enriching the Arab cultural scene, and the advancement of thought and empowerment of knowledge, and let us leave future generations, that the tales of our contribution to the path of human civilization be listed with their creativity and their creativity that we will not give up on One day.

He affirmed their constant pursuit of the institution to expand the partnerships that reflect the identity of the institution and enhance its presence in the community locally and Arably, as the Foundation has many notes of local and Arab understanding, which resulted in joint activities in Egypt, Jordan and other cultural centers and institutions, what we seek in light of the Al -Owais Cultural Foundation celebrations with the passage of a hundred years since the birth of the poet Sultan Al Owais.

He expressed his hope that this agreement with the group will open new horizons for cooperation by exchanging information and experiences and organizing joint activities and activities and other projects that are in the category of enhancing cultural and social activity.

On the other hand, His Excellency Ibrahim Al -Hashemi stressed in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that the signing of the memorandum reflects the importance of cooperation between institutions to provide the best services to culture and arts, pointing out that the legacy of the poet Sultan Al -Owais is extending, and his tangible impact on the change that he brought through his award in the lives of more than 106 of the book and writers over the honor of the award.

In line with the initiative of “Literature and Writers” of the Abu Dhabi Group for Culture and Arts, this agreement embodies the common message of the two institutions in supporting Emirati and regional literary talents through cultural and knowledge exchange programs, including research publications, seminars, training workshops, and cultural forums, in addition to the exchange of resources and expertise, and this partnership honors the life of the late poet Sultan bin Ali Al Owais And its creative heritage, stressing the importance of preserving the Arabic language and preserving the Arab cultural and intellectual heritage.

In celebration of this cooperation, and in conjunction with the launch of the “Literature and Writers” initiative to twelve new title this year, the group organized the signing ceremony of the book “The Poet Sultan Bin Ali Al -Awais: Al -Asiya Al -Ghaiba”, which documents the biography and march of the late Emirati poet, and deals with an in -depth reading in the literary experience of Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais, and highlights his contributions to the poetic scene Cultural, highlights its position as one of the most prominent contemporary Emirati and Arab poetry pioneers.

The group’s pavilion also witnessed the launch and signature of the “Badr Al -Shaar” office, in honor of the late poet Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and it comes within the new publications supported by the group this year within the framework of the initiative “Paints of Literature and Writers”, and an affirmation of its continuous commitment to providing a platform for Emirati and Arabic literary voices.

The group hosted a diverse cultural program throughout the exhibition, which included a series of literary and intellectual events.

The wing activities included organizing signing parties for a number of books, with the participation of Emirati writers in cooperation with the UAE Writers and Writers Union and Emirati and Arab publishing houses, as well as literary sessions with a group of intellectuals and researchers, creative workshops for Arabic language teachers, and poetry evenings for students. Among the most prominent activities of the program are a lecture by Dr. Jean Toma, and discussion sessions with the participation of His Excellency Ibrahim Al -Hashemi and Dr. Youssef Eid, which dealt with the biography of the poet Sultan bin Ali Al -Owais under the title “Al -Asi on the absentee”, as well as a dialogue session by Dr. Fatima Al -Maamari, focused on future cultural strategies.

In its tenth year, the initiative “Painted Literature and Writers” continues its role in supporting the publishing industry in the region and upgrading it, by highlighting the Arab authors, and contributing to the preservation of the Arabic language and enhancing its presence in contemporary literature.

The Abu Dhabi Culture and Arts Group launched this initiative, in line with its mission in caring for creativity and preserving cultural identity, to become a basic pillar in the Emirati literary scene, as it combines local and international voices in a renewed celebration of the written word.
