The National Academy for Childhood Development, May 10, set a date to close the application for the vocational diploma approved in childhood development, while the process of applications and acceptance will take place from May 13 to August 18, provided that the study begins on the first of September, indicating that there are five advantages to join the program, and the program also allows graduates to work in six major areas related to childhood.

The Academy, which is affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, aims to develop the capabilities of workers and child care assistants, with a focus on the Arabic language and the national identity and their promotion, where the Academy provides a professional diploma program for childhood development, which is accredited by the National Center for Qualifications, in addition to training and continuous education programs in basic fields, such as positive parenting, protecting the child, health, and nutrition, and nourishing it, And his education, early intervention, and the support of families and members of society.

The academy stated, on its official website, during the announcement of the third batch of diploma, that the professional diploma program approved in childhood development (0-18 years) is a specialized program, aiming to develop the skills and knowledge of individuals working or wishing to work in the field of childhood development as caree providers, especially in the fields of early education, child care, development psychology, learning, development, protection and prosperity of child Private and family science, noting that the program extends over 18 months, divided into the education and application for a period of 12 months inside the academy headquarters, and the field training stage that extends for six months in different training places.

She stressed the provision of the program five basic advantages, including a full scholarship for students of the professional diploma program approved in childhood development, financial support in the form of a monthly reward for all students, and providing health insurance for the student, which includes health care services in accordance with the valid legislation, and a laptop computer, where students will be provided with devices during the study period, in addition to distributing annual transportation cards for public buses within the city of Abu Dhabi.

The Academy indicated that obtaining its professional diploma allows graduates to work in various fields, including an assistant teacher in the nurseries, a shadow teacher, a entrepreneur in the field of childhood development, a sponsorship provider, a care provider for people of determination, a care provider in alternative families’ programs, in addition to other jobs related to childhood development.

It is worth noting that during the past two years, the academy received more than 13,000 registration requests, of which about 200 applicants were accepted, including more than 70 Emiratis, with an acceptance rate of about 1.5%, after a series of accurate assessments to ensure that the best competencies are attracting, while 80 graduates successfully ended the program, and they are preparing to join prestigious institutions in the country.
