The airport administration said that the “traffic accident” occurred earlier on Sunday when a car collided with the outer wall and fell in the corridor near the entrance to the number 1 of the Passenger Building at Nineveh Akino International Airport.

The Filipino Red Cross, which responded to the accident, said that the accident killed two people, an adult and a four -year -old girl.

Pictures published by local media on social media platforms showed people extending on the ground, destroying the entrance glass, and a black four -wheel drive vehicle was damaged after colliding with the airport doors.
The National Airlines Association said that the injured were receiving treatment, and that the driver of the car was held by the police.
