Al -Habbash discusses judicial cooperation with the head of the Supreme Judicial Council in Qatar
The judge of Palestine judges, the President’s Adviser for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, Mahmoud Al -Habbash, met today, Sunday, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council in the State of Qatar, Hassan bin Lahdan Al -Hassan Al -Muhannadi, in the Qatari capital, Doha. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the participation of Al -Habbash in the work of the twenty -sixth session of the International Islamic Fiqh Complex conference, in the presence of the chancellor at the Embassy of the State of Palestine to the State of Qatar, Kholoud Al -Qaddah Al -Lahham. During the meeting, Al -Habbash reviewed the latest field developments in Palestine, the humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, and the continuous violations in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. It also touched on the challenges facing the work of the Sharia Judicial Authority in Palestine in light of the difficult circumstances imposed by the occupation, which hinder the work of national institutions and the performance of their mission. The judge stressed the depth of the brotherly relations that bring together the Palestinian and Qatari peoples, appreciating the fixed positions of the State of Qatar, leadership and people, in support of the Palestinian cause and its standing alongside the Palestinian people in facing the challenges imposed on it. For his part, Al -Muhannadi welcomed the visit of the Palestinian judicial delegation, expressing the readiness of the State of Qatar to enhance judicial cooperation with the State of Palestine, by organizing mutual visits and specialized workshops that contribute to the development of the judicial system, within the framework of supporting Arab and Islamic solidarity.
