Governor of Aswan: The completion of 70% of the water projects in the hot areas … and the completion on June 30
Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, the governor of Aswan, the completion of the implementation of 70% of urgent projects in the drinking water and sanitation sector in the hot areas of the governorate, as part of a government plan aimed at improving the level of services provided to citizens, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, provided that the complete completion of those projects on June 30, 2025. Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage, in the presence of Dr. Salah Bayoumi, Vice President of the company, Engineer Amer Abu Halawa, President of Aswan Water Company, Engineer Mansour Badawi, President of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Giza, and Eng. Mustafa Al -Shimi, President of the Drinking Water Company in Cairo, a number of leaders of the sector and representatives of the National Drinking Water and Sanitation Authority. Housing and facilities to solve drinking water and sanitation problems in Aswan Governorate, and raise the efficiency of stations and fees, in addition to starting the future plan to support water networks, in coordination with the sister companies of Aswan, namely: the Cairo Drinking Water Company, Giza Company, the Drinking Water Company in Alexandria, Cairo Sanitation Company, and the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Sohag. Projects with a total financing of 500 million pounds, focusing on four main axes: developing the Jabal Shisha water purification station and its sockets, improving water services in the areas of Mahmoudiyah and new friendship, strengthening the operational and institutional capabilities of Aswan Water Company, and completing the control of controls to ensure the regularity of water flow to the targeted areas. The ministry, through the holding company, provided significant support that resulted in a noticeable improvement in the stability of water service in the regions that were suffering from weakness and interruption. That this stage will include a package of vital projects, most notably:
Create a sewage lever in the torrent region
Replacing and renewing the main decline line in the new torrent with a diameter of 1200 mm
Development of slope networks in the new Al -Sail and Rural areas
Create a mine Drinking:
Carrying out a ground tank with a capacity of 12 thousand m & super; To improve the water service in the city of Aswan
Create a water tank and distribution lines in the Mahmoudiyah area with a capacity of 5000 m & super;
