Manager and workers in travel agencies said that flights to Lebanon are witnessing a heavy demand with high occupancy rates, pointing out that the cancellation of the decision to prevent Emirati citizens to Lebanon led to the flow of inquiries and reservation requests immediately after its issuance, amid expectations of a greater increase in demand during the summer vacation season.

They mentioned to “Emirates Today” that citizens who have business or real estate in Lebanon are the first to initiate the reservation, noting that the flights to Beirut have already started to record high occupancy rates, amid preparations to launch special tourist offers and raise the seat capacity to keep pace with this demand during the coming period.

In detail, the CEO of “Al -Rayes Travel Company – Al -Rayes Group”, Mohamed Jassim Al -Rayes, said that the company started receiving inquiries regarding reservations to Lebanon since the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the cancellation of the decision to prevent citizens’ travel, “adding,” We have received several requests and we expect during the coming period to witness more tourism reservations to Lebanon. “

Al -Rayes added: “There are reservations for citizens to travel to complete the business there in the current period,” noting that some Emiratis have real estate and businesses in Lebanon and we expect greater demand than this segment in the early days of the validity of the decision to prevent the travel of citizens. “

In a related context, the CEO of Dubai World Travel Company, Badr Al -Ahly, said that in light of the requests and inquiries that we have received, we expect a high demand for Lebanon: indicating that for citizens who have businesses there or visited this country more than once, they are one of the first people to initiate their reservations.

He added: We expect a high request with the start of the summer vacation season by citizens, pointing out that flights between the UAE, Lebanon, record high occupancy rates on airlines, including national tankers.

He expected Lebanon to return to the map of the summer vacation of citizens strongly this summer.

In addition, the general manager of the “Al -Awadi Travel Company”, Amin Al -Awadi, said: “Reservations for citizens were registered to travel to Lebanon with the decision to allow citizens to travel into the benefit.”

And that, according to the decision, the citizens of the country must register in the service of “my presence” before traveling, to ensure effective communication, whether traveling directly through the air outlets of the UAE, or from any other country in the world.

We also received requests regarding conducting tourism reservations to Lebanon from the families segment, and we will launch within the next few days, special offers and packages to spend holidays in Lebanon.

“Since the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the cancellation of the decision to prevent travel to Lebanon, we have witnessed a remarkable increase in citizens’ reservations, as we started receiving immediate requests to travel as soon as the decision was issued, which reflects a strong desire for many to visit this destination,” said Dr. Haitham Al -Hajj Ali. He added that Lebanon is currently witnessing a heavy demand with the cancellation of the decision to prevent citizens from traveling, and we expect that the demand will rise at greater rates during the coming days and weeks, especially with the approaching summer season and school holidays.

Al -Hajj Ali added: The flights to Beirut began to record high occupations, and it is expected that the airlines will resort to providing more capacity to this destination with high demand rates.

He said: We recommend those wishing to travel to Lebanon with early seizure due to the high rate of rapid occupancy, and we expect that the wave of strong demand will continue throughout the summer season.
