Ahmed bin Hamdan crowns the winners of the Abu Dhabi Grand Championships for Al -Kanad Hunting 2025

Abu Dhabi, May 9/ WAM/ Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Federation for Modern Rowing, Major General Fares Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Acting Secretary -General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, won the winners of the Abu Dhabi Greater Hunting Championships 2025.
The events were selected with a large ceremony held in the Al -Bateen Council in Abu Dhabi, during which the winners of the Greater Yas Hunting Championship, and the Grand Magirah Championship for Women’s Hunting for Women, were crowned, in addition to the distribution of the season prizes and honoring the sponsors and supporters.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Championships for the year 2025, which included the Al -Dhafra Championship during the period from 10 to 12 January, and the Abu Dhabi Championship during the period from 4 to 6 April, and the Yas Championship during the period from 25-27 April, and the championship of Al -Mughira, which was held during the period from 2-4 May, the participation of more than 6150 sea and 1195 boats, and the contestants hunted 462 fish as a total weight 7250 kg, and the prizes value reached more than 4.2 million dirhams, which reflects the great importance of this unique sporting event.
During the closing ceremony, a video highlighted the four events, and sheds light on Abu Dhabi as a leading sporting and heritage destination, while during the ceremony, shepherds and strategic partners who provided great support were honored in organizing championships, including ADNOC, Abu Dhabi Naval, Mir Group, Al Dhafra Technical Services, Abu Dhabi Media Company, Suzuki Marine, Yama The Diwan of the Ruler in the Al -Dhafra region, the National Guard, the Environmental Authority – Abu Dhabi, the Municipalities and Transport Department, the Abu Dhabi Police, the National Meteorological Center, and the Abu Dhabi Councils.
The winners of the Grand Yas Grand Hunting Championship were also honored 2025, where Zainab Saeed won first place in the women’s category, followed by Maryam Al -Muhaza in second place, Aisha Al Hammadi in third place, while in the men’s category, Ali Al -Shehhi achieved first place, and Muhammad Issa Al Shamsi finished second, and Khamis Al -Junaibi ranked third.
The winners were also honored in the Grand Mughira Hunting Championship, where Asma Al -Raisi won first place, Nour Al -Mursaid in second place, and Hasna Al Hammadi ranked third.
The winners of the season prizes were announced, as Moza Al Hammadi won the Nissan Patrol after achieving the highest points in the championships, in addition to the Marine boat and 50 thousand dirhams in advance from Abu Dhabi Media Company, after hunting the largest fish as a weight of 34.07 kg in the Abu Dhabi Championship.

Saeed Al -Rumaithi won the Nissan Patrol after achieving the highest total of points in the championships, and Faris Ali Al Mazrouei was honored by the Al Dhafra boat award and 50 thousand dirhams in cash after hunting the largest fish as a countener with a weight of 34.35 kg in the second round of the championships.
Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Abu Dhabi Greater Hunting Championships 2025, thanked and appreciated His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, and His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Federation for Maritime Sports, for their care For championships, which contributed to its success and presentation in the best way.
