4 advantages of the insurance system for disrupting work .. Get to know it

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has identified 4 advantages of the Insurance Agency for Work, noting that the disruption insurance system includes citizens and residents working in the federal government sector and the private sector in the Emirates, which is an innovative system that gives the necessary protection to workers when they are disrupted.

The Ministry stated through its digital platforms on social media that the most prominent advantages of the system is that it provides a social protection umbrella for workers during the period of disruption, and the provision of a monthly cash compensation from the basic salary for a period of up to 3 months, while the regime encourages citizens to enter the private sector and benefit from government empowerment and support, as well as the competitiveness of Emirati cadres and the attractiveness of the labor market in the country.

The system aims to provide a social protection umbrella that guarantees the permanence of a decent life for employees and their families during the period of disruption from work, by compensation for the insured with a cash amount for a limited period, and until it provides an alternative job opportunity in accordance with the provisions of Decree Law No. 13 of 2022 regarding insurance against disruption.

The decree of the law of some categories was excluded from the application of the system, namely: the investor (the owner of the facility in which he works), the auxiliary workers, the worker with a temporary contract, and the events under the age of eighteen years, as well as the retirees who get a pension and join a new work.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation stated that there are 4 conditions for compensation entitlement, namely: the period of the insured’s participation is not less than (12) twelve months connected to the system, and that he has not been dismissed from his work for disciplinary reasons in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Regulating Labor Relations and the Human Resources Law in the federal government, and any relevant valid legislation, and that the demand for compensation is not made by fraud or fraud or if it turns out that the establishment that works with it Fake, while the compensation is stopped if the employee joins another job during the compensation entitlement period.
