The Public Prosecutor meets with the members of the Public Prosecution and its employees in the Mansoura Appeals Prosecution Department

Attorney General/ Mohamed Shawky, on Thursday, the eighth of this May, met with a number of members of the Public Prosecution in the Mansoura Appeals Prosecution Department, in the presence of a group of leaders of the Public Prosecution. The meeting started with a presentation presented by the Counselor, Director of Judicial Inspection, during which he reviewed the most prominent achievements of the Public Prosecution during the years 2023, 2024, whether with regard to the completion of investigations, especially in the remaining cases of previous years, or with regard to improving the logistical structure of the offices, developing its resources, and providing a growing financial outcome in favor of the public treasury. The presentation also included the efforts made in inspection of the reform and rehabilitation centers, and the role of orphans care for the elderly, within the framework of the Public Prosecution’s keenness to protect the first categories with care. The Public Prosecutor gave a speech in which he expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the prosecution members, praising the remarkable development in the performance of the Cairo Appeals Prosecution, which recently presented distinguished results. His Excellency also dealt with a number of practical problems and challenges, explaining the ongoing efforts to deal with them, including implementing instructions to collect traffic violations without exception, mechanisms for maintaining cases in the central archive, and developing the breaks of the prosecution members. His Excellency pointed to the inauguration of the website of the Public Prosecution Office for Training, and the submission of all members of the prosecution to evaluation tests, on the basis of which the distinguished are the reward of the distinguished, and the performance of the performance of those who did not achieve the required level, to determine the reasons for the failure and work to avoid it, explaining that the beginning will be with the members of the Public Prosecutor’s office, before circulating the experiment to the rest of the prosecution. His Excellency also indicated the signing of a cooperation protocol with Mansoura University, which includes the presentation of specialized academic programs, including granting scientific degrees, such as a master’s degree in the field of crime scene, in a way that contributes to enhancing the technical and scientific capabilities of members of the Public Prosecution. At the end of the meeting, the Attorney General directed the members of the Mansoura Appeal Prosecution to prepare a comprehensive questionnaire on the practical problems facing them, to monitor the obstacles to work and suggest ways to overcome them. After the meeting, the Attorney General met with a number of employees of the Public Prosecution in the Mansoura Appeal Prosecution Department, as he thanked them for their strenuous efforts in ensuring the proper functioning and regularity of administrative work in their jurisdiction. His Excellency listened to the problems related to their work tasks and their proposals to overcome them, explaining the steps taken by the Public Prosecution to improve the work environment. These meetings reflect the public prosecutor’s keenness to communicate directly with all members of the public prosecutor system, listen to their proposals, and follow up on the progress of work and upgrade it.
