Dubai, May 13 / WAM / The Dubai Police General Command, during the global police summit that started today at the Dubai World Trade Center, reviewed a number of its latest technical innovations in the areas of security and safety, which included the smart boat “Haddad” of the Ports Police Center, and the latest technical support systems used within the security inspection units K9.

Colonel Ali Abdullah Al -Naqbi, Director of the Ports Police Station, confirmed, in a special statement to the Emirates News Agency, “WAM”, that the boat “Haddad” is one of the most prominent technical projects adopted by Dubai Police, and reflects its orientation towards harnessing artificial intelligence and advanced solutions to support maritime security, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the team, Abdullah Khalifa Al -Marri, Commander -in -Chief of Dubai Police.

He explained that the boat is characterized by a number of smart characteristics, and is one of the modern mechanisms that have been included in the center’s system, as it contributes to enhancing maritime security and safety in the Emirate of Dubai, and confirms the position of the center as a specialized and unique police agency regionally.

He indicated that the boat works with advanced technologies that include self -control and remoteness, and can be programmed through satellites to implement periodic and exploration tasks independently, such as monitoring suspicious movements, identifying the required bodies or persons, and liberating violations by reading the numbers of marine means, especially those that violate laws or are present in protected areas.

He added that “Haddad” is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence systems that allow him to work around the clock, with the ability to store and analyze data automatically, which makes him an effective tool in supporting maritime security, especially in difficult weather conditions such as high waves or intensity of heat and humidity.

He pointed out that the boat is in the fourth stage of operational experiences, where the police are looking to integrate more techniques of artificial intelligence and digital governance within the project, stressing that “Haddad” is a complement to the human element, and is subject to follow -up from the center’s maritime operations room, which monitors maritime events moment by moment and responds to any emergency.

Lt. Col. Salah Khalifa Fadel Al Mazrouei, Director of the Security Inspection Department K9 in the General Administration of Dubai Police Security and Emergency Security of Dubai Police, told “WAM” that the administration has introduced advanced technologies to support the tantalies of police dogs units, including smart cameras associated with trainers, smart barriers, and website tracking devices (GPS), which contributes to raising the efficiency of training and field preparation.

He explained that these technologies allow the coach to monitor the performance of the dog accurately, and analyze data using advanced smart systems, noting that the security inspection department is a specialized authority that receives great attention from His Excellency General Abdullah Khalifa Al -Marri, and works according to the highest professional and technical standards.

He pointed out that the K9 teams carried out a series of international posts during the past three years, which included tasks in Qatar, Turkey, Morocco, Libya and France, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and under the direction of the team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, which contributed to exchanging experiences and raising the efficiency of teams.
