A partnership between Qualcomm and Humain to build artificial intelligence databases in Saudi Arabia

The signing of the agreement came on the sidelines of the Saudi-American Investment Forum, which was held in Riyadh, as part of the visit of US President Donald Trump to the Kingdom, in the framework of supporting the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 and stimulating the Kingdom’s leadership in the artificial intelligence sector and semiconductor technologies.
Integrated infrastructure
Under the agreement, the two companies intend to implement strategic projects that include: establishing advanced data centers for artificial intelligence within Saudi Arabia, to provide highly efficient hybrid solutions from the cloud to the edge.
Projects include: combining Qualcomm advanced processing units such as Snapdragon and Dragonwing to operate low -power computing solutions.
Projects include: accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence via peripheral devices with the support of Humain cloud structure.
The projects include: Merging the Grand Arabic Language Model (Allam) developed in partnership with the Saudi Organization for Data and Artificial Intelligence within the comprehensive system of Kalakum, to provide smart solutions for government and private institutions.
Semiconductor
The two companies announced cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to establish the Qualcomm Design Center for Sections of Mosques with international standards in the Kingdom, supported by training and development initiatives.
This step aims to make the Kingdom a regional center for the design of electronic slides, which contributes to economic growth and attract technical competencies.
