المملكة: A tribute to the role of “Media Oasis” global coverage of the visit of President Trump

The Ministry of Information concluded the work of the “Media Oasis”, which it established in the strategic partnership with the Life Quality Program -one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 -in conjunction with the visit of US President Donald Trump to the Kingdom for two days.
The oasis formed a pivotal focal point to enable international media coverage accompanying the visit, and highlighting the dimensions of the transformation witnessed by the Kingdom in various fields.
It witnessed a wide media presence, with the participation of more than 1,000 journalists from inside and outside the Kingdom, representing more than 110 local and international media outlets.
The total media coverage reached more than 475 coverage, produced through a precise operational system, which included 150 cameras, 50 screens that transported the event directly, and 120 media materials shown during the event, within more than 45 continuous operational hours.

5 main areas

The “Wadi Al -Waha” area was a major axis of media work, as it allowed reporters and reporters an integrated environment for direct broadcasting and content production, supported by advanced technical infrastructure and quick field services, which contributed to facilitating the instant coverage of the visit, and providing high -quality media outcomes for local and international media.

The oasis included 5 main areas that contributed to enriching the media and cultural experience, which included “Wadi Al -Waha”, “The Communication Zone”, the “Saudi West Bank”, “The Cultural Bridge”, the “Oasis Gallery”, which reviewed 6 national transformational projects that included: the quality of life program, the Islamic Military Alliance to fight terrorism, the NEOM project, the Qudya Investment Company, the new square of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi hosting file, the Saudi hosting file, the Saudi hosting file. The oasis was devoted to 6 integrated TV studios for direct broadcasting and meetings, in addition to organizing more than 150 introductory rounds for media and diplomatic delegations from within the oasis.

Cultural bridge

The Ministry of Information confirmed that the media oasis represents a qualitative experience in employing modern media tools to cover local and international events, and will continue to provide innovative models that reflect the reality of the Kingdom and its aspirations in making influential content, and building media bridges with various countries of the world.
