The US President’s visit opens new horizons for economic cooperation

The Minister of State for Financial Affairs, Mohammed bin Hadi Al -Husseini, stressed that the visit of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, to the UAE represents a strong boost for the growing financial and economic relations between the two countries, and reflects mutual trust and deep partnership that links the two countries in various fields, especially in the financial and investment sector.

He said in a statement, yesterday, that this visit comes at an important time, in which the world is witnessing accelerating economic transformations, which enhances the importance of enhancing financial cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America, especially in the areas of developing sustainable financial policies, exchanging experiences, and integrating financial markets.

He explained that the Ministry of Finance is working continuously with the financial and economic bodies in the US government to develop financial communication channels, facilitate the movement of capital, and enhance the environment supporting bilateral investment, stressing that the financial relations between the two countries represent a corner stone in the broader economic system, and contribute an active role in supporting the stability of the global financial system.

He stressed that this visit will pave the way for more qualitative partnerships, and opens new horizons for cooperation in the priority fields, to serve the vision of the leaders of the two countries in building a flexible and competitive economy, based on innovation, sustainability and openness to the world.
