The dialogue was held on the sidelines of the visit of US President Donald Trump to the United Arab Emirates, which began on Thursday and concluded today and in the framework of expanding the scope of economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, which contributes to enhancing economic growth, providing job opportunities and supporting the innovation system in both countries.

During the business dialogue, a set of agreements between institutions from both sides were announced in various fields that included energy, health care, aviation, industries, artificial intelligence, advanced technology, entertainment, sports and tourism.

In the energy sector, strategic agreements were announced that are expected to contribute to enabling the implementation of American investments in energy projects in the UAE with a value of $ 60 billion.

This included the announcement of “ADNOC” company for a development plan with “Exxon Mobil” to increase the production capacity of the Zakum Alawite field, and another plan with “Oxidental” to explore ways to raise the production capacity of the Shah Gas field, and grant a new concession to explore the non -traditional oil resources of the American company “EOG Resource” in addition to a framework agreement between the company “XRG” with a company “1pointfive” of the “Oxidental” company, with the aim of studying the implementation of a major investment in a project that uses the technology of “direct air capture” in Texas .. The two sides also agreed to launch a comprehensive strategic partnership in the energy sector between the two countries.

In the aviation sector, Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, announced the request for the purchase of 28 Boeing 787 and 777 X aircraft, equipped with General Electric engines, with the aim of continuing to expand its fleet.

Cooperation has also been announced between the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Qualcomm to create an advanced global engineering center in Abu Dhabi, focusing on developing the technologies of the next generation from the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and data centers solutions.

The new center in Abu Dhabi is the latest global Qualcomm engineering centers and will support strategic initiatives in the emirate through cooperation with local and international companies that Abu Dhabi is headquartered.

The Center for the International Engineering Capacity for Abu Dhabi and the UAE will enhance the provision of products and services specifically designed to meet the needs of the strategic sectors, including the energy, industry, logistical services sectors, retail and smart movement in addition to cooperation between the E & Qualcomm Group to accelerate the development of advanced communication technologies, the fifth generation network and artificial intelligence solutions, in order to support the march of digital transformation in The most prominent governmental and industrial sectors.

The Emirates International Aluminum Company has also announced its progress in its plans to build the first first aluminum production factory in the United States of America since 1980, and the Emirates International Aluminum Company plans to invest $ 4 billion in this project.
