Loss of F-16 fighter plane

The Ukrainian Air Force announced the loss of a F-16 fighter plane this morning, due to an unusual situation on board, and stated that the pilot was able to activate the ejaculation seat.

A statement on the Telegram application said: “According to the initial data, an unusual situation on board had occurred. The pilot removed the plane from the residential areas and was successfully tossed. ”

This is the third American F-16 fighter plane that will fall or shoot down since Ukraine received a number of it last year.

Earlier, the Ukrainian service at the BBC reported, quoting Ukrainian government sources, that Russian missiles shot down the F-16 fighter over the Sumi region in northeastern Ukraine, killing Ukrainian pilot.

Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski confirmed the killing of a pilot who was leading the Western F-16 fighter, during a combat mission.

“Captain Pavlu Ivanov was killed Saturday during a fight while driving an F-16,” Zellinski said, expressing his condolences to his family.

Previously, the Ukrainian army confirmed the killing of a pilot in the crash of a “F-16” plane, explaining that the contact was cut with the plane while it was repelled by a Russian attack, amid conflicting positions on the circumstances of the plane’s crash.

As a result, Zelinski decided to dismiss Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mikola Olisock.
