"Athletics" Participate in Asian "Men and women"
Dubai, May 17/ WAM/ The Emirates Athletics Federation announced the participation of our national team in the Asian and Women, which will be held in South Korea in the last week of this month.
The list of our national team in the tournament includes 4 players and players, Suleiman Abdul Rahman, Moaz Fawzi, Maryam Karim and Aminat Qamar Al -Din.
Nasser bin Ashour, the Secretary -General of the Federation, stressed that participation in the tournament is added to the record of the continuous attendance of our national team in the foreign championships, with qualified elements, and is able to compete with competitions with a high degree of readiness, to win the distinguished results, and gain international experiences, especially since such tournaments witness the presence of the best players.
He explained that our national team succeeded in winning 5 medals recently, with two golds in the Asian Championship for Junior and Witches in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and 3 bronze in the Gulf Youth Championship in the Qatari capital, Doha.
