“Food Safety” closes the “Restaurant and Working Restaurant” facility in Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority issued a decision to close the administrative closure of the “Restaurant and Mutawas” facility in the Dana area in Abu Dhabi, which carries the commercial license (CN-5255566This is due to violating Law No. (2) of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the legislation issued according to it, as well as its danger to public health.

The authority explained that the food control report stated that the decision to close the facility was the result of the repetition of food safety violations and the failure to implement effective corrective measures, which necessitated immediate action that guarantees food safety and the health of consumer.

The commission stressed that the administrative closure order will continue until the reasons for the violation will disappear, with the possibility of resuming the activity after correcting the conditions of the entire facility and adhering to all the requirements of food safety.

She pointed out that the administrative closure and the detection of abuses comes within the authority’s plan to enhance the food safety system in Abu Dhabi and to undergo all food facilities to search for a periodic to ensure its compliance with the requirements with a focus on the pre -emptive protection of consumers and to ensure the commitment of all facilities to food safety requirements.

The authority appealed to the public to communicate with it, and to report any violations that are monitored in any food facility or when doubting the contents of the food by calling the free number of the Abu Dhabi government 800555 until the authority’s inspectors take the necessary action to a safe and sound food for all members of society in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
