The “Wadi Al -Helou” area is one of the mountainous and remote areas in the Emirate of Sharjah, the best model that highlights the power of synergy and cohesion between the leadership and the people that formed over a half century and is still, the key to the transit gate towards development and stability, the traffic bridge to a new era and the transition from yesterday’s vicinity to this day with confidence and merit, to be “Wadi al -Helou” part of a modern modern country.
Al -Dalf sees the “Valley of Al -Helou” area and easily touch the spirit of the “General Society” initiative on the faces and between the neighborhoods, especially since communication, interdependence and solidarity in this region is present since ancient times, so the initiative comes and remains synergy and cohesion is a sustainable legacy in minds and hearts.
Khamis bin Saeed Al Mazrouei, the governor of Wadi Al -Helou, said that the annual societal initiatives are acceptable, approval and societal interaction because of its deep impact and its great role in consolidating social values and authentic human principles in the hearts of members of society, especially young people and young people wherever they are and wherever they exist.
He added that the UAE is adopting this year the “Year of Society” initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him under the slogan “Hand in Hand”, to embody the vision of leadership towards building a coherent and prosperous society, and a homeland that enjoys security and stability, so that the development and development process that has always been formed and constantly constitutes the concern of the rational leadership.
He explained that the “Wadi Al -Helou” area has been distinguished throughout the ages by solidarity and cooperation at the popular level; This was strengthened in the shadow of the union and moved to another more organized stage through cohesion and synergy between the leadership and the people, which was manifested since the beginnings of the establishment of the state, where the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, was keen to communicate with people of different locations and in all their areas of presence, and visited all regions and inspected the conditions of population gatherings everywhere to determine the needs of everyone and work to meet them and ensure their achievement.
Al -Mazrouei said that the citizen, his comfort and his well -being were the preoccupation of Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, despite what he was carrying on him from the responsibilities of the construction and building of the state and its leadership and laying its established foundations, and still enjoys today, and under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, with care and attention to improve the level of his livelihood And achieve happiness for him by adopting development programs and implementing projects that contribute to achieving this.
He added that we have to compare the past and the present and what the place was before the year 1971 and what it has become today to realize the size of the change for the better achieved by the Emirates and the qualitative and civilizational leaps that have achieved it; As the establishment of the state and the establishment of the union at the beginning of the seventies of the last century constituted a great turning point in the life of the people of “Wadi al -Helou” towards the great development that the place is currently witnessing, especially since His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, is always hesitating about “Wadi El Helou”, and losing the conditions of his family and meeting their requests.

Al -Mazrouei said: “The living conditions have changed in the“ Wadi Al -Helou ”area after the establishment of the union and the people moved from living in the mud and stones houses to modern popular houses equipped with all services.
He concluded by saying: “The interdependence, communication and cooperation between people in the place was our only capital to overcome difficulties and hardships, and the most prominent factors that helped us cross towards the desired future were a historical leadership characterized by a unique approach in governance and generous giving that enhances national action, no matter how the circumstances changed and challenges increased.”
