United Nations Minister of Health: Egypt provides full and continuous support to the Palestinian people

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population and Chairman of the Executive Office of the Arab Health Ministers Council, delivered a speech to the Arab Republic of Egypt, before the Supreme Commission for the Council of Arab Health Ministers in its 62nd session, held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, in the presence of Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al -Hasnawi, Minister of Health in the Iraqi Republic, the current president of the council, and the ambassador, Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazala, Assistant Secretary -General The Council, and a number of international officials concerned with health affairs. Priority files, foremost of which is the health situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, confirming Egypt’s full and continuous support for the Palestinian people, and condemning all the attacks that affected health facilities and medical crews in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, calling on member states to continue the flow of urgent medical and humanitarian aid without interruption, stressing the importance of continuing the work of the Arab Health Committee to prepare and respond to emergency & RAKUO; Especially in light of the current crises in the Arab region, especially the Gaza Strip. Another context, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar stressed the importance of approving a unified Arab strategy for medical and hospital tourism, starting from the leading experience of the Arab Republic of Egypt in this field, and its efforts in working to improve the quality of health services and enhance the national economy.
