“Human Resources and Emiratisation” calls on the private sector to achieve localization targets for the first half before June 30

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has called on private sector companies that work with 50 workers or more to achieve localization targets for the first half of the year 2025, which is a growth rate of no less than 1% in the numbers of citizens in the skill jobs of the total skilled employment of the facility, before June 30.

It is scheduled that the Ministry will start from the first of next July to verify the extent of companies ’commitment to achieving the required targets, including the registration of the citizen who is appointed in one of the social insurance funds and the commitment to pay the subscription regularly, in order to avoid the financial contributions that will be imposed on companies that are not committed to fulfillment of them.

The assistant undersecretary for the national talent empowerment sector, Farida Al Ali, said: “The large results of the labor market and the accelerated economic growth in the state are enhancing the ability of private sector companies to fulfill their obligations in the settlement file, in parallel with the establishment of the methodology of partnership with the ministry and the” Nafs “program in order to support the achievement of resettlement policies and targets in the private sector.”

She praised the interaction of the private sector with resettlement policies and its commitment to achieving the required targets, which reflected positively on this national file and the record of unprecedented historical results in the numbers of citizens working in this sector, which reached more than 136 thousand citizens working for 28 thousand companies in the private sector at the end of April of this year.

She emphasized confidence in the continuation of the companies concerned with continuing to achieve the targets, especially by taking advantage of the electronic platform of the “Nafs” program, which is full of qualified citizens to fill the targeted jobs.

Al Ali pointed out that it continues to provide advantages and benefits to companies that achieve exceptional results in Emiratisation, by including them in the membership of the Emiratisation Partners Club, and thus benefited from financial discounts of up to 80% on fees for the services of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and give it priority in the government purchasing system, which enhances the opportunities for its business growth.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has a digital field control system that is characterized by its efficiency in monitoring negative practices, whether in terms of attempts to resort to resettlement, or to circumvent the targets of resettlement, as this system succeeded in controlling approximately 2200 facilities that violate resettlement decisions and policies from the middle of 2022 to April 2025 and take legal measures against them.

The Ministry provides several channels to report any negative practice that contradicts the settlement policies in the private sector, by communicating with the call center on the number 600590000 or through the smart application and the Ministry’s website.
