Dr. Al -Khoury pointed out that the world is witnessing a milestone that calls for flexible economic models capable of adapting to challenges, especially in light of the negative expectations of global growth in 2025 as a result of commercial tensions and high inflation rates, which makes the digital economy a central tool to achieve sustainable growth in the region. He pointed out that the most prominent challenges facing the Arab digital economy are the expansion of the digital gap, the weak human readiness, the delay in developing legislative and regulatory frameworks, stressing the need to intensify spending on technological infrastructure, launch future education and training programs, and reform the legislative system in a way that accompanies innovation and supports the digital business environment.
