The municipality of Al -Khafji Governorate has completed the work and settlement work, with a part of Makkah Al -Mukarramah Road, within the program of processing visual distortions and improving the urban scene.

For his part, the mayor of Al -Khafji Governorate, Engineer Muhammad Al -Yami, explained that the municipality recently finished the work of filling and settling the Makkah Al -Mukarramah road with a total area of ​​45,000 thousand square meters, in addition to the completion of the work of the pillar basis, with a total area of ​​40,000 thousand square meters.
He pointed out that the project is to create a dual road for the Makkah Al -Mukarramah Road to adjust the next track from Makkah Al -Mukarramah Road towards the southern entrance to the governorate, for the field that connects King Salman bin Abdulaziz Road, to the Makkah Al -Mukarramah Road with a total of 2900 meters and a width of 11 meters for both directions, in addition to a 4 -meter -width island, and the asphalt work will be with an analogous area of ​​41650 square meters of asphalt.

Raise the level of road performance

This comes within the municipality’s interests in developing the province and its centers and its continued efforts in the framework of raising the level of road performance in the main neighborhoods and streets and achieving the satisfaction of its users throughout the province.
Engineer Al -Yami said that the governorate is witnessing a remarkable activity in asphalt works for a number of main and branch streets, noting that the municipality is striving through a comprehensive plan to cover the entire areas of the governorate with maintenance work.
