On behalf of the President of the State, Saud bin Saqr arrives in Malaysia to participate in my summit "Gulf -Asian" and"Gulf – Asian – China"

Kuala Lumpur, May 25 / WAM / on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, arrived today to the Malaysian capital “Kuala Lumpur” at the head of the state delegation participating in the second summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf states, and the Association of Southeast Asian countries “Asian”, in addition to the Joint Summit between the Cooperation Council And “ASEAN” and the People’s Republic of China, under the slogan “totalitarianism and sustainability”, which Malaysia hosted as part of its periodic presidency of the “ASEAN” association of 2025.
His Highness was received upon his arrival in the capital, “Kuala Lumpur”, His Excellency Mohamed Khaled Nour El -Din, Minister of Defense in Malaysia, and a number of Malaysian officials.

The official delegation, accompanying His Highness, includes the two summits, Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al Khaimah, His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al -Zayoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Ahmed Al -Sayegh and Minister of State, His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murr, Minister of State, His Excellency Khalil Muhammad Sharif Fulayh Malaysia, His Excellency Abdullah Salem Al Dhaheri, the country’s ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and the Assyrian League.

It is scheduled that the two sits that will witness the presence of a number of leaders, heads of government and representatives of the participating countries will discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council and the Association of Southeast Asian countries “Asian”, and the People’s Republic of China, in various economic, investment, development, and political fields, as well as exploring new opportunities for cooperation, in a way that serves the aspirations of the peoples of states to achieve development and prosperity.

This is the second summit that brings together the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Association of Southeast Asian countries, “Asian”, after the “Riyadh Summit” hosted by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2023, during which the summit was approved between the Cooperation Council and the “Asian” once every two years.
