OPEC+ looking to increase production in July by about 411 thousand barrels per day

The OPEC+ oil -producing countries met today, Saturday, to discuss July’s production, and four sources told Reuters during the meeting that the group was heading to agree to an increase of 411 thousand barrels per day, in line with the increases prescribed for the month of May and June.
A delegate in OPEC+ said that eight member states of the group started an online meeting, also discussing other options. Sources familiar with the OPEC+ talks on Thursday that they could deal with an increase exceeding 411 thousand barrels per day for Yuli.
The eight countries increase their production at a faster rate than previously planned, although the increase in supply pressures prices.
All sources refused to publish their identities due to the sensitivity of the matter. OPEC and the authorities in Russia and Saudi Arabia did not respond to requests to comment on Friday.
