Tamkeen continues to support Bahrainis in the field of programming and information technology

The Labor Fund (Tamkeen) announced the expansion of Bahraini training in the field of integrated programming (Full Stack Development) and the signing of an agreement with the Ribbot Institute for Programming supported by the French educational platform 01 EDU, with the aim of training 750 Bahraini.
This agreement comes as a complement to the success achieved by Tamkeen in cooperation with the Ribbot Institute over two years, where 350 Bahraini joined the Ribbout Institute for Training in the field of programming in the first batch. 60 of the current students in the institute got high -return technical jobs in various institutions in the private sector before the training program ended, and a number of them succeeded in changing their professional path successfully to information technology from various fields, including financial services and engineering And others.
The Ribbot Institute offers specialized training programs for a period of two years aimed at training individuals who do not have previous technical skills to graduate as programming specialists ready to enter the field of technology.
This is done by following an innovative approach based on learning by working on applied projects, and focuses on direct practical experience, readiness to enter the labor market and the compatibility of the skills gained with the needs of the market. The Ribbot Institute also supports its students in obtaining job opportunities by cooperating with various institutions in the private sector and holding employment fairs in order to match the appropriate jobs for its graduates.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mrs. Maha Abdel Hamid Mufiz, CEO of the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), affirmed the Fund’s commitment to promote and develop Bahraini competencies to achieve its highest goal in making the Bahrainis the perfect choice for employment in the labor market, and this includes providing specialized training opportunities for Bahrainis that help them enter areas required in the labor market and provide them with promising future opportunities in the technology sector.
It also noted the importance of focusing on technical training to prepare national cadres to enter the labor market in light of the digital economy and provide them with future skills. Her Excellency praised the success achieved by the Ribbot Institute during the past two years in providing specialized training at a global level and graduating qualified competencies to enter the labor market and growth in it.
This agreement comes in line with the priorities of the empowerment of the strategy for the year 2025, which is to enhance the position and competitiveness of the Bahraini citizen in the private sector, and to provide Bahrainis with the appropriate skills for job development in the private sector, as well as granting priority for the growth, concealment, sustainability of institutions and support for the environmental system to enhance the effectiveness of the labor market and the private sector.
For his part, the price of Glad, the administrative director of the Ribbout Institute of Programming, will receive this cooperation with Tamkeen, pointing to the active role that the fund presents in supporting and developing Bahraini competencies. He said: “We cherish our role in supporting the digital transformation of the Kingdom of Bahrain by extending the local market with qualified cadres with the required programming skills in the market, which would enhance the adoption of technological solutions, and the development of innovative digital solutions in various institutions and economic sectors.”
It is worth noting that the Ribbot Institute provides training in a flexible study pattern that is appropriate for students ’needs; Which helps them to complete the training requirements easily, and the institute also provides the opportunity for participants to specialize in a specific field at the end of the training program, and helps them to choose the appropriate specialization for them in programming from among the various specializations required in the market, including: artificial intelligence and data science, the development and operation of cloud software, games development, developing web and mobile phones, cybersecurity, and comprehensive Java programming.
