Russian Grapevin and Iranian Nicokar as a hero "Dubai Open Chess"

Dubai, June 5/WAM/The great Russian international professor Alexei Grapevin was crowned the Dubai Open Chess Championship 2025 (first category A), which concluded its competitions yesterday at the Dubai Chess and Culture Club, after 9 consecutive rounds, with the participation of 184 players and players from 23 countries.

The Russian Zimlinski came in third with 6.5 points, after beating Vietnamese Fam Tran.
In the second category (B) competitions, Iranian international professor Mahdi Nikocar won the championship title with 7.5 points, after drawing in the last round with the Armenian Manokian Sarge, taking advantage of the loss of Indian Fendan Al Nakar to Chinese Zhang Zhi, who in turn raised his score to 7 points.
The secret came because you are in second place thanks to the fracture of the tie, followed by the Indian Fendan Al -Nakar, the Greek Anastasius Pavlides, and the Chinese Zhang He, all with 7 points.
Naguib Mohamed Saleh, Vice -Chairman of the Dubai Chess and Culture Club, and Abdul Karim Al Marzouqi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Chess Federation, crowned the winners.
