"FIFA" It creates a section to consider the issues of the World Cup clubs
Zurich, June 10 /WAM /FIFA announced the establishment of a specialized department within the Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) during the 2025 Club World Cup, to consider the conflicts related to the tournament, based on Article 50 of the FIFA Basic Law.
The work of this section is scheduled to start from June 14 to July 13, and it will be specialized in looking at the legal issues that arise during the tournament period or directly related.
This section will include arbitrators specializing in experienced football disputes in the Sports Arbitration Court.
The new section aims to issue quick and effective decisions, within a maximum of 48 hours of the date of the dispute, to ensure the smooth progress of the tournament and not being affected by any legal differences.
FIFA has published the rules for this arbitration procedure, and the participating clubs were informed.
