"Ajman transfer" An increase in passenger transport during the Eid al -Adha holiday is recorded by 34% compared to last year

Ajman on June 10 / WAM / The Transport Authority in Ajman transported during the blessed Eid Al -Adha holiday 439,168 passengers across the various means of transportation in the emirate, registering an increase of 34% compared to Eid al -Adha for the past year, which reflects the effectiveness of the transportation system in the emirate, and the public’s increasing confidence in the services provided by the authority through a modern and various transport network.
The taxi has topped the list of the most used transportation during the feast, where they transported 380,622 passengers, thanks to their wide spread and ease of obtaining them, in addition to providing smart reservation services through electronic applications.
Public transport lines also witnessed a remarkable turnout, as the total number of public transport users is 55,256 passengers, and used 2,716 passengers to the lesson service, while the on -demand transportation service received 574 passengers through smart reservation systems.
The authority explained that this achievement was achieved thanks to the pre -emptive efforts that were to develop a comprehensive flexible operational plan, which included strengthening the fleet, increasing the number of vehicles, and intensifying field control, which contributed to the movement’s management effectively and meet the increasing demand for transportation during the Eid holiday.
She considered that this remarkable increase in the number of passengers reflects the results of the continuous investment in developing the transportation network, relying on smart digital solutions, and paying attention to the quality of the service provided. These efforts also fall within the vision of Ajman 2030, aimed at achieving a sustainable urban movement and enhancing the quality of life for all segments of society, through a flexible, safe and environmentally friendly infrastructure.
Engineer Sami Ali Al -Jallaf, Executive Director of the General Transportation and Licensing Corporation, said that these numbers are clear evidence of the success of the Transport Authority strategy in promoting the efficiency and reliability of transport services in the emirate.
