Officially … Qatar and Saudi Arabia host the qualifiers for the Asian attaché to the “2026 World Cup”

Kuala Lumpur on June 13 / WAM / The Asian Football Confederation announced the approval of the Qatar Football Association and the Saudi Football Association as two hosts hosting the Asian Attaché matches as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, known as the “Asian Qualifiers – the Road to 2026”.

The attachment matches will be held in an assembled form during the period from 8 to 14 October 2025, with the participation of 6 Asian teams that ranked in the third and fourth places in its groups in the previous stage of the qualifiers, namely: the Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Iraq, and Indonesia.
The participating teams will be distributed in two groups, each of which includes three teams, where the leaders of each group qualify directly to the 2026 World Cup Finals.
As for the teams that occupy the second place in the two groups, they will play a match from the two and second leg matches, which will be held on November 13 and 18, 2025, to determine the qualified team to the global attaché qualified in turn to the World Cup.
The Asian Attaché lot is scheduled to be withdrawn on July 17, 2025.
