This came during the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the launch of the second phase of the bureaucracy program, during a ceremony held in Dubai, with the participation of more than 200 ministers, ministries and general managers of the federal authorities.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, in a post on his official account in the X platform, yesterday: “We launched today the second stage of the bureaucracy to the government of the UAE .. A national project for the manufacture of government services is simple And time. ”
His Highness added: “We thank more than 30 government agencies, and 690 teams that contributed to simplifying and reducing governmental procedures … and today, we expand the scope of completion, intensify efforts … especially in the field of digital bureaucracy .. Our goal is: a government without complication, and without waiting services .. and results that make real difference in people’s lives.”
The program represents a comprehensive national system for bureaucratic tolerance projects and initiatives, and an incubator for the efforts of all ministries and authorities, to achieve the strategic goal of the UAE government to be the best government in the world in providing services, and reaching zero bureaucracy in the UAE government.
The results of the first stage
On the other hand, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Muhammad Abdullah Al -Qarqawi, stressed that the steps that have been accomplished, and the results that were achieved during the first stage of the bureaucracy program, come within the framework of achieving the vision of the leadership of the UAE, which always directed us to serve people and continuous development to facilitate their lives with easy and pre -emptive procedures and services.
He said during his opening speech to launch the second phase of the program: “More than 690 working teams within 30 government agencies participated during the first stage in canceling more than 4000 procedures, and abbreviating more than 70% of the time period for providing services, deleting 1,600 repeated requirements, and the UAE government celebrated the best 3 bodies in the bureaucracy.”
Al -Qarqawi stressed that what has been accomplished during the previous period is a new model in the management of government work in a more effective way, as government work teams were used to re -engineer procedures and raise the efficiency of services, and the team completed this task with high efficiency, and this is not the main savings that we were looking forward to, but the real savings are the savings in the times of the public and dealers, and at the times of companies and investors, which amounted to more than 12 million hours of work annually, and more than 1.12 billion AED.
He pointed out that «the next stage will include more reduction in unnecessary procedures, expanding the reduction in the number of smart applications by beating the digital bureaucracy, and raising the efficiency and providing digital systems throughout the hours of the day. And consolidating digital integration between government agencies, and improving the experience of digital dealers.
Outstanding results
The program achieved distinguished results within the first stage of it, as it laid a new model in the management of government work, redesign procedures and raising the efficiency of services in a more effective way, as more than 690 work teams participated in 30 government agencies in canceling more than 4000 unnecessary procedures, and abbreviating more than 70% of the time of providing services, and 4500 customers participated in the whistle, and more than 19 thousand employees participated.
The results of the program contributed to improving 200 million annual transactions, and providing 12 million hours annually to dealers, in addition to 1.12 billion dirhams annually, which were provided to individuals and businesses of the costs of transition and waste time, as well as honoring the distinguished teams in government agencies with seven million dirhams.

The program includes within its directions in the second stage to be 100% of the digital bureaucracy, such as digital complications, the large number of smart applications, and the modernization and development of all government digital systems, as well as the effective adoption of artificial intelligence.
The program will also continue to settle unnecessary governmental procedures and services, to cancel duplication in procedures between government agencies, and to whistle all unnecessary burdens, requirements and requirements.
