The UAE and the Czech Republic enhance cooperation during a forum "Globessic 2025"
Prague, June 17/ WAM/ His Excellency Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, visited the Czech Republic on the sidelines of the UAE’s participation in the twentieth edition of the “Glosic Forum”.
This visit reflects the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Czech Republic, and confirms the commitment of the two sides to expand areas of cooperation in priority sectors, including health, education, innovation, energy and development.
During the visit, her Excellency met with a number of senior Czech officials, including His Excellency Yan Libverkki, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Valek, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, and discussed the discussions on strengthening bilateral initiatives, supporting multilateral cooperation, and discussing joint partnership opportunities with African countries.
The visit achieved important results, the most prominent of which is the signing of the partnership statement regarding the implementation of triple development cooperation with African countries in the field of building the capabilities of the health care sector, with the aim of enhancing capacity building and exchanging experiences with African countries.
Her Excellency also participated in a high -level dialogue session entitled “Glosic Dialogues – Promotion of Relations: Relations between the European Union and the UAE under the changing global scene”, which was organized in cooperation with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, and the session reviewed the prospects for cooperation between the UAE and the European Union in the areas of trade, technology, climate work and regional stability.
The visit confirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its relations with its partners in Central and Eastern Europe, and to push international cooperation based on common values and mutual interests.
