Sharjah executive organizes the government development forum

Sharjah, June 17 / WAM / The General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah represented by the Government Development Department today organized the government development forum under the slogan “Together … for better government services” at the Jawaher Center for Events and Conferences in Sharjah, in the context of its continuous efforts to improve the quality of government services and enhance the efficiency of institutional performance.

The forum came to embody the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council aimed at the human status at the heart of the government process and harnessing all capabilities to meet his needs and aspirations and provide integrated services of high quality.

The forum witnessed a wide participation of the customer experience teams in government agencies in the presence of more than 400 employees of the cadres specialized in developing government services in a meeting unlike the culture of “one team” that is a major station in the “Sharjah Program to improve the customer experience” launched by the Executive Council as an integrated framework aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and developing government services through four axes that included: strategic orientation, design, development and submission supported With a series of organizational evidence and standard standards.

Hanadi Ali Al -Muhairi, Director of the Government Development Department at the General Secretariat of the Executive Council in its opening speech to the forum, stressed that the organization of this forum comes as a culmination of an integrated march of government work in order to embody the commitment of the Sharjah government to improve the quality of life and develop government services and in a way that translates the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council in making customer satisfaction a top priority.

The program pays special attention to building institutional capabilities by developing the skills of work teams specialized in designing and developing government services and enabling them to implement continuously continuous improvement operations based on innovative thinking and participatory work in a way that ensures the continuity of raising the efficiency of the government work system in the Emirate of Sharjah. Investment in the human element is a pivotal priority in building competencies capable of leading development projects and institutional transformation in the future.

The agenda of the forum included a number of major events that included a presentation entitled “From the vision to implementation … the strategic orientation of the Sharjah Program to improve the experience of the customer” presented by Brigadier Dr. Tariq Jassim Al -Midfa, dealing with the strategic axes of the program, as well as reviewing the current government development projects and an interactive video under the title “The imprint of development leaders in the design of services”.

A dialogue session entitled “How to participate in the development march together” moderated by Eng. Majid Al -Mazmoum, Advisor to the Sharjah Digital Department, with the participation of Lt. Col. Ahmed Al Matroushi, Head of the Department of Safety Dealers in the General Command of Sharjah Police and Jawaher Al -Dabr, Advisor to Information Systems in the Municipality of Sharjah, and Engineer Ali Al Muhairi, Director of Survey Department in the Planning and Survey Department, Omar Al -Siri, Deputy Director of Registration and Licensing Department in the Department of Economic Development Experiences And the challenges they faced in the program and reviewed the most prominent field practices to develop government services, mechanisms to enhance integration between the customer experience teams and the importance of adopting innovative solutions based on data analysis and the needs of customers in a way that contributes to upgrading the level of services and meet the aspirations of society with high efficiency and quality.
