Muhammad al -Sharqi looks at the strategic plan and academic programs of the University of Fujairah
Fujairah on June 18 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi met the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al -Fahira University, in his office at the Emiri Diwan, His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al -Jassem, President of Fujairah University.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the new strategic plan of the university (2025-2030) and its new academic programs.
His Highness affirmed the commitment of the Emirate of Fujairah to develop the education system and its quality in order to achieve its vision in the field of academic excellence, pointing to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to keep pace with the aspirations of economic and knowledge growth in the emirate, and the needs of the labor market in the country, according to high -level academic standards, efficiency and outputs.
His Highness also pointed out the importance of building effective and supportive bridges for the university’s goals and qualifying student cadres through sustainable partnerships with government and private institutions in the emirate, and developing infrastructure with the aim of providing a modern and stimulating educational environment that enhances the quality and results of the educational process.
During the meeting, the university plan, which is based on a modern governance model and active partnerships, was reviewed, and aims to enhance the quality of education and scientific research, empower students, and qualify cadres according to national and international standards.
During the meeting, His Highness also reviewed the axes of the plan, which includes the launch of innovative and evolving academic programs in the bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and the launch of a new marketing strategy to attract international students from outside the Emirates with the aim of enhancing cultural diversity and academic openness, and strengthening partnerships with the public and private sectors to ensure the harmony of education outcomes with the requirements of the renewed labor market, and investment in the fields Scientific research and innovation.
The university team thanked and grateful to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for its continuous support for the university’s work and the requirements of its development in a way that enhances its position among the universities of the state in the higher education sector.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
