Details of the Jerash Festival Party for Culture and Arts and the dates of the singing stars
The UAE registered a qualitative presence in the activities of the thirty -ninth session of the “Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts”, which will be held in Jordan during the period between the twenty -third of July and the second of August. And the Emirati star Ahlam achieves her third participation in the festival, as she will sing on the southern stage, which can accommodate five thousand people, on Friday evening, July 25, after her first participation in 1997, and the second in 2016, as well as the poet Al -Watan Ali Al -Khwar, his second consecutive participation, after his distinguished presence in the last year’s session 2024, where he revives a poetry evening on Thursday 31 July.
The festival will be held this year under the slogan “Here is Jordan … and its glory continues”, in an indication of the continuation of the festival for four decades, and the solid foundation on which the festival’s vocabulary is based is affirmed by adhering to the national culture and serious art, stemming from the authentic heritage, which is open to humanity, as it represents a national title and a legitimate window on the world and a bridge of communication with people With national culture and enhancing belonging to the national identity, a platform for dialogue between cultures, and a space for making joy.

In exclusive statements to Zahra Al -Khaleej, the executive director of the festival, Ayman Samawi, said that this year’s session is witnessing about 235 artistic, cultural and literary events from 37 Arab and foreign countries, held in the heart of the ancient city of Jerash outside and abroad, where it spreads in a number of Jordanian governorates from the capital Amman to Jerash, Daiba, Irbid, Zarqa, etc., in an effort to achieve the cultural extension of the festival, which is an important step towards promoting the presence of the festival over the presence of the festival National and Arab level. Samawi indicated that the festival singles a wide area for a number of writers, poets, novelists, Jordanian playwrights and Arab counterparts through a distinguished cultural program, as well as the participation of the major Arab singing stars.
The festival is officially launched with the opening ceremony on the northern theater, which includes a group of festive paragraphs, which express Jordanian folklore, and Jordan’s vision of its relationship to its Arab and international extension, while the artist Omar Al -Abdallat provides a lyric link to mark the launch of the festival.
The southern theater at the Jerash Festival occupies the main focus point, due to its importance and the succession of the great stars to sing in its nights, as a group of the most prominent singing stars, and the dates of their concerts participate in this year, and the dates of their concerts as follows:
