Abu Dhabi, June 25 / WAM / Borouge BLC announced its cooperation with Haniole to conduct tests “Proof of Concept” in its factory in the UAE, to take advantage of the solutions and tools of artificial intelligence, with the aim of creating a qualitative shift in the operational processes and productive efficiency of the company.
With this cooperation, Borouge and Haniole works to develop the first self -controlled control room in the petrochemical sector and carry out operations in the actual time by taking advantage of the solutions and tools of artificial intelligence.
Hazim Sultan Al -Suwaidi, CEO of Buruj Company, said that the Buruj program for artificial intelligence, advanced technologies and digital transformation contributes to establishing new criteria in operational operations, innovation and business performance, noting that the company will be able, through cooperation with global pioneers in the field of artificial intelligence such as “Haniole”, to accelerate its growth, raise its productive efficiency and enhance the value of its shareholders.
He added that this project supports raising the company’s competitiveness; To achieve more successes in the UAE and consolidate the culture of innovation and sustainability in the industrial sector, noting that the two companies will employ their experiences in the field of operating technologies and self -control capabilities to determine the new opportunities to apply the solutions of “artificial intelligence agents” and advanced algorithms for machine learning in the operational operations.
For his part, George Bou Mitri, president of the “Haniole” industrial automation company in the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Central Asia, said that integrating the solutions and tools of artificial intelligence and automation in basic operations contributes to reaching new levels of efficiency, safety and performance.
Cooperation aims to apply the techniques of “proof of concept” to self -control processes to enhance “Borouge” operations in its facilities in the industrial city of Ruwais, and to establish new criteria for efficiency and sustainability in the petrochemical industry by taking advantage of the capabilities of self -control.
The project also represents an essential component of the “Borouge Program for Artificial Intelligence, advanced technologies and digital transformation”, which is expected to achieve an additional value of 2.1 billion dirhams during the current year, after its success in creating a total value of 2.1 billion in 2024 thanks to its various portfolios that include more than 200 initiatives covering major areas such as, operations, health, safety and sales Sustainability and the development of innovative products.
