Abu Dhabi, June 26 / WAM / The activities of the “Series of the Place .. Revoked Vision”, which was organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi.
The exhibition sheds light on artwork created by the participants in the latest version of the “Resident Photographer Program” of the photography studio, which spanned its activities for four months, and hosted seven local, regional and international emerging artists.
The exhibition includes the artworks of the artists participating in the program who have been working on experimenting with various methods in the arts of image industry, through their innate curiosity and their sensory interaction with the surrounding environment.
This initiative enhances the message of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi in protecting, preserving and promoting arts and culture through caring and supporting emerging and emerging talents, and contributing to the development and development of the scene of photography and the organization of vibrant art exhibitions in the emirate.
The third batch of the residing photographer program includes Aman Ali, Anna Yob, Dana Al -Daen, Faris Al -Kaabi, Al -Zaabi, Reem Hamid, and Youssef Al -Badi.
The artistic works of artists reveal stories that reflect their selves and express others at the same time, and through movement, spatial interrogation and interaction with the characters that appeared in their photographic narratives, the artists revealed their personal experiences turning into layers that were collected together to form artistic works that originated and developed through the continuous dialogues in the studio, interventions and advice of peer.
The works presented deal with a group of various topics, including stories of love and care in family contexts, the lives of plants as they are formed by human interference in public spaces, moments that emanate within the balance of natural operations, evoking destroyed places through their doors and windows, the deep connection between the human being and his surroundings, and the tension between movement and stillness, in addition to works that are formed from memory and voids, within the contexts Local and personal.
