What Al Ain coach said after beating Moroccan Wydad

Al Ain team coach, Serbian Vladimir Evic, shed light on the problem of losing mental focus in his players in the first minutes of the matches, after the victory of his team against Moroccan Wydad 2-1 at the end of the “leader” participation in the FIFA World Cup.

“In the previous two games, we received our goals in the first minutes, and today the same thing happened, we received a goal but we have shown a positive reaction,” Evic said in press statements after the end of the confrontation.

The coach pointed out that his team was able to overcome this mental obstacle by believing in the ability to return and win, adding: “We have made opportunities in the half and believed in our fortunes and winning.”

Evic praised the performance of his team despite the difficulty of the climatic conditions, saying: “We succeeded in ending the championship with a victory, we did what we have and the best of what we have, even though the temperature is difficult and the atmosphere is very hot.”

Regarding the organization of the tournament, the coach expressed his admiration for the general organization, with a single note related to the weather, where he said: “For a wonderful organization and everything is good, except the temperature in most of the stadiums, which is something for all the teams and was not only against us.”
