Fujairah shines in the sky of the Arab media with a prestigious three at the Tunis Festival
Fujairah on June 28 / WAM / The Fujairah Culture and Information Authority won three prominent awards at the end of the twenty -fifth session of the Arab Radio and Television Festival, which recently closed its activities in the Tunisian capital, in confirmation of the distinction of local media production in the areas of heritage, culture and community awareness.
Fujairah TV won the first prize for the “Tivan I” program, presented by the journalist Ali Al -Yamahi, which is concerned with highlighting the rich Emirati heritage, by reviewing traditional crafts and authentic cultural customs in an attractive optical style and distinct documentary content.
As for the Fujairah Radio, two prominent prizes were won, the first for a flash of “Dirham Protection – Health Nutrition”, a short awareness paragraph that focuses on the importance of proper nutrition as a lifestyle, prepared and presented by Anas Al -Shaladi, and directed by Tamer Al -Omari, and with the participation of Abdullah Al -Hashemi, while the second prize was for the “Mother’s Tales” program, which narrates dialogues between a mother and her child carrying educational messages and positive behaviors, It is embodied through acting scenes performed by a crew able to actors, written by Hammoud Mohamed, directed by Tamer Al -Omari, and starring Awatif Muhammad, Hammoud Muhammad, Khadija Ali and Mahmoud Rabie.
His Excellency Nasser Muhammad Al -Yamahi, Executive Director of the Authority, affirmed that these awards represent the fruit of the authority’s vision and strategy in producing specific and meaningful media content, based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for the media and cultural sector in the emirate.
Al -Yamahi said that this Arab appreciation is a strong motivation for more innovation and distinction in radio and television programs, especially those that enhance the cultural, heritage and societal identity of the UAE.
