Hamdan bin Mohammed is directed to organize the World Sports Summit in Dubai at the end of 2025

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, directed the organization of the “World Sports Summit” in Dubai on December 29 and 30, 2025, to be the largest global sports gathering that includes a group of sports stars, experts and decision makers, with the aim of designing the future of global sport from Dubai, the city of the future.

The summit will be held organized by the Dubai Sports Council, to be a leading international platform that highlights sport as a unified power among peoples, a source of inspiration for generations, an effective engine for the economy, and a tool for talent development locally, regionally and globally.

His Highness stressed in a post on the “X” platform that this directive comes within the framework of Dubai’s entrepreneurial vision in supporting various vital sectors, and enhancing its position as an influential global center in the sports industry and its future.
