Nahyan bin Mubarak launches the second stage of the program "Swift Pro accelerators"

This came in a statement to His Excellency after the start of the second stage of “Swift accelerators” organized by the Al -Watan Fund in cooperation with several international institutions in the field of programming, under the title “Swift Pro accelerators”, a program that aims to empower Emirati youth who successfully passed the first stage, with modern digital skills that support their professional future and contribute to the state’s vision to build a competitive knowledge economy, and also enhances the national identity by linking technology to culture And the authentic Emirati values.

His Excellency Yasser Al -Qarqawi, General Manager of Al -Watan Fund, said that the second stage of the program is the most advanced, and includes three consecutive levels under the title “Swift Pro accelerators” and continues for 28 weeks, in both Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain and Ras Al Khaimah, through which the best 50 students are chosen among 308 participants from distinguished in the fields of programming.

He added that this program enjoys the support and sponsorship of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, who is keen to meet the children of the Emirates participating in the program from all the emirates of the country, and motivate them to be at the forefront of the world’s programmers, and put their home Professionalism.

He explained that students will implement what they have learned practically through actual projects, which enable them to create high -performance applications, and the best of these applications will be published on the Apple App Store, stressing that the program works to enhance advanced technical skills and provides participants with practical experiences in developing applications and designing user facades, which prepare them to be pioneers in the field of technology.

On the way the “Swift Pro accelerators” program works, Al -Qarqawi explained that the duration of the program includes 28 weeks, starting with the preparation and team construction phase where the content is created and downloaded on the LMS management system and lasts 6 weeks, then the stage of acquisition of knowledge and in which medium and advanced concepts are learned, through a hybrid educational model using the “inverted separation” method and lasts 12 weeks, and finally the stage of developing applications that last for 10 weeks, Stressing that the program aims to provide an advanced course for distinguished students from the Swift Accessator program and develop their skills in advanced Swiftui technologies, enabling them to build innovative and easy to use applications, integrate advanced features in applications (maps, APIS, artificial intelligence, camera and others), and publish premium applications on the Apple store.

Al -Qarqawi warned that the role of the fund does not stop only when training students, but also sets them into broader horizons, as they are trained to form work teams, and encourage them to specialize in the technical fields, stressing that the “Swift Pro accelerator” program is one of the most important continuous initiatives in the field of creativity and innovation offered by the fund.
