Saud bin Saqr receives the Indian Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries
Ras Al Khaimah, June 30 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received today at the Palace of His Highness in Saqr Bin Muhammad, His Excellency HD Kumarasuami, Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries in the Republic of India, who is currently visiting the state, accompanied by His Excellency Singha Sodahar, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the state, and His Excellency Satish Kumar Sivan, the Consul General of the Republic of India in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah welcomed His Excellency the Minister and his accompanying delegation, and exchanged conversations with him about the strong relations that bring together the UAE and the Republic of India, and ways to enhance and develop them, especially in the industrial field, which reflects the depth of economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, the prospects for joint cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and India were reviewed in the steel sector and heavy industries, and the importance of building strategic partnerships that keep pace with the aspirations of sustainable development, and support industrial initiatives for both sides.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi stressed the keenness of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to enhance cooperation with the Republic of India, based on the strong bilateral relations, the strategic partnership that brings together the UAE and the Republic of India, and the promising opportunities it carries to achieve sustainable economic development.
For his part, His Excellency HD Kumarasuami expressed his great thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the generosity of hospitality and warm reception, stressing his country’s aspiration to enhance cooperation frameworks with the UAE, and build new partnerships that contribute to supporting progress and promoting sustainable industrial development, and praising the comprehensive developmental renaissance achieved by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, especially in the sectors of industry, investment and tourism.
