Emirates Aviation University celebrates the graduation of its thirty -fifth payment

Dubai, July 1 / WAM / Emirates Aviation University celebrated the graduation of the 35th batch and honored 154 of its graduates who have successfully passed the graduation requirements and are preparing to enter the world of the aviation industry, under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President of the CEO of Emirates Airlines, the group and the president of the university.
His Highness the graduates delivered their certificates during the ceremony in the presence of the families of the graduates and their friends, faculty members at the university and a number of officials of the Emirates Group.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said that the Emirates Aviation University continues to perform its pivotal role in supporting the development process, by qualifying specialized competencies that serve one of the most important vital sectors in the country, which is the aviation sector, indicating that the university is not limited to being an academic institution, but rather is a strategic pillar in the areas of training, research and development, and enhancing integration between knowledge and practical application.
His Highness affirmed the fixed commitment to support the university’s march, and to enhance its capabilities through the leaders of the group and the continuous investments in its future capabilities, congratulating all the graduates for their achievement, and wishing them success in their working life.
Professor Ahmed Al -Ali, Vice President of Emirates Airlines, said that the graduation of this batch constitutes a pivotal station that coincides with a major transformation stage witnessed by the aviation sector locally and globally, and by entering this vital sector, graduates embody the new generation of competencies capable of pushing the wheel of innovation and ensuring the sustainability of growth in an industry facing increasing challenges in terms of specialized experiences.
Since its foundation in 1991, the university has released more than 26 thousand graduates and graduates, who have become an effective part of the aviation system in the UAE and abroad, contributing to the development of competencies and building the future of the sector at the local and international levels, as well as supporting Emirates Airlines needs from qualified cadres.
This year’s batch included students of more than 25 nationalities, within a group of academic programs at the bachelor’s level and graduate studies, which included specializations such as Aviation Administration, Aviation Safety, Air Transport Administration, Space and Aviation Engineering.
This year also included 154 graduates and graduates, including 24 graduate students and 130 Bachelor’s students, including a number of students sponsored by Emirates Airlines.
The university honored 19 male and female students who have distinguished academic performance in various disciplines, and more than 650 students had an opportunity to train with the Emirates Group for more than one semester during the past four years.
The UAE Group’s internal training program is a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience within a real work environment, as part of the academic path for students.
University students are in practical training that extends for one semester, through which they get up to 15 credit hours that are counted within the graduation requirements.
